What to put in an EPK (electronic press kit)

An EPK is a one-page pitch for you as an artist. It's what you send to venues, bloggers, playlist curators, booking agents and music supervisors so they can say yes quickly.

What to include

A short bio of three to five sentences that says what you sound like and why people care. Two or three best songs, streamable right on the page. Professional photos in high resolution that press can download. Highlights like notable shows, placements, playlist adds or press. Press quotes if you have them. Contact info for booking and press, clearly visible.

What to leave out

Long life stories, every song you've ever released, and anything that makes someone scroll to find your music. Busy people decide in under a minute.

One link beats attachments

A hosted page is easier to open than a stack of attachments, always shows your latest music, and works on any phone.
